    Great day today!

Had a great time today! It looked like everyone was having fun, at least except for the few that crashed. Fortunately all wrecks were minor and the bikes will live to ride again.

We definitely gotta schedule some more of these things!

hell yea! today was awsome. i had an incredible time. seeing Mel whippin that track on her SRAD and JoeCode impressing everyone dragging parts on his yellow kawisaki with the clapping. it was a great, relaxed enviroment.

two scraped knee pucks WAY up!

And, of course, a HUGE thanks to those who made it happen. Daytona for putting it together, the instructors for volunteering their time, and everyone else who gave to the cause - Ashli's BBQ, Ralph's on track services, the photo/videographers, and piles of other unnamed, unselfish folks.

Definitely was an awesome time! Scott, thanks for pulling this together we should've done this much sooner. I am stoked that I got to participate. Sorry about the crashes, but at least each and everyone walked away from them...glad you are all okay.

Mel it was sooo inspiring to see you dancing on that track, you rocked out there! I definitely see racing in your future my dear

Bob, thanks for working with me and showing me the proper lines and body positioning on my bike. Every little bit helps, you made alot of the turns less intimidating.

Thank you Rick for adding my name to the list Hope you had a great time out there being its your last track day out here in Colorado and at SCR before they officially close it!

The best part of this day, was just being out there and having a great time among such awesome friends! Good times as always.

    Re: Great day today!

Awww thanks! I would LOVE to race, don't know that I am really that good, but I was having a blast today! Too bad the track is closing so soon, this was just an amazing day, and one that I will not forget for awhile. Scott, thank you for making this happen, and I DEFINITLY need that video you shot (at least the one of me from the end of the day )

Ashli, food was awesome, I loved your pasta salad! (and the Dr. Pepper saved my afternoon )

To all the insrtuctors: thank you for taking the time out of your work week to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of us. I didn't get a chace to follow all of you around, but Ray Ray and definitly Gene thank you for putting up with all my questions and not (totally) making fun of me for everything.

I have Vance's camera with a couple hundred pics on it. I will try and get some time to load some into the album Bob so generously created

I had a great day too. Thanks to the people who organized it. All in all I was very impressed with how well the day went in terms of safety, organization, BBQ (Ashli ROCKS!) and the willingness of the instructors to meet the needs of the participants. Thanks Gene for a the new lines!

    Re: Great day today!

Yesterday was a damn good day!

Thanks to all of you that made it happen! You all that made the effort to put this together are awesome!
Thanks to Ashli for the lunch...your pasta was fantastic.
Thanks to all the racers that came out to do some instruction. Got some great words of encouragement and some fine tuning of my skills that I can work on from here on out.

Glad to see too that there weren't too many get offs and those that had them didn't get too hurt. It looked too like all of your bikes came out relatively easy as well.

We should definitely do this again. Too bad SCR is closing this year, it's a really damn convenient track to do this kind of thing at.

Not yet fast enough to race.

    Re: Great day today!

It was great to meet some new CSC peeps. It loked like everyone had fun. Bummer though about the crashes.
It was obvious by the end of the day that everyone was faster and had much more confidence.
Watching Joe Code (yellow Kawasaki) scrape hard parts was fun. But it was really scarry watching from behind, the suspension unloaded everytime he did that.
Purpgixxerchic, you were really moving out there. Keep it up, if you could afford it, try racing next year. If you think an open track day is fun, try racing!

OH, yea, I am really glad the scooter gang did not crash our party.

I would like to chime in as well. Thanks to all who helped in any way, shape or form. To Scott for setting this up. Ashli for the cooking. Ray for the instructions. Gene for the instruction as well as the suspension help.

I enjoyed meeting everyone and had a great time. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Thank you to everyone.

Hey everyone, it was my pleasure. Myself and my wife and daughter all had a great time!

    Don't get excited yet............but.........................

I am talking to Bob at SCR about getting us another day at the end of October before SCR is gone for good.

Nothing definate yet, so don't start fighting over the 40 available spots...........I will post up AS SOON AS I get confirmation of availability and dates.

There is one deal breaker - If I can't get Bob to guarantee us a bad weather refund, then I won't chance it. End of October could be chilling cold and snow and we don't want to have to pay $2000 to sit and watch it snow.

I will post a thread with details as soon as I have them

    Again,

It was great to meet you all, watch you ride and see everyone have a good time.

To those that crashed - I'm glad you were all ok and that you (and your bikes) will live to ride another day.

I uploaded about 100 of the pics before the site told me I have reached my quota on pic posting...anyways, they are all in the album, and a lot of you kicked ass!

But, lookee what the track n00b girl did!
