Lol @ the Lucasfilm joke. Not lol-ling at selling the Krafträder Trunkenpolz Mattighofen. I'm not going to give up the best bike I've ever owned unless I need money for life saving AIDs or cancer treatment lol.

    Close...950, not 990. I opted for the carb'd version.

Bahahahahaha, you're hilarious. I'm just trying to keep it upright, I just fixed it. Last time I got too ahead of myself I crashed at HPR.

After some riding, I think the bike benefited. The idle seemed better and there was no backfiring due to the AIS. The pops from the QS sound much better as they are occurring as they exit the exhaust WHOOT!

Waiting for a Bazzaz and Akra now!

If anyone was curious, these fit well and feel great! Took about 10 minutes to work on; needed to buy a 12mm allen and they were $16.95. They come in other colors as well.

Just caught myself up on this thread... Sounds like it's been a bit of a mini ordeal, but you are going to have yourself one filthy Duc, when you're all finished!

It has been, you have no idea. I also learned that while KTM uses mineral oil in their clutches, Ducati uses DOT4 (MO screws some shit up). This is clutch... pun intended.

These Italian hard-part companies are a PITA to work with. Have to wait somewhere around a week each time I order something. I WANT TO RIDE! At least AZ is year round lol.

So how do you like Sierra Vista? I take it you are there because of Fort Huachuca. Good riding there?

It's ok... I would never choose to live here and in terms of riding? Normal people would probably say it's not bad. I mean you can find some curves, but it's really point and shoot. There is the advantage that more or less you can go full throttle whenever, there is nearly no enforcement. Riders are far less skilled. Everyone is riding on Lego blocks (squared off rubber).

I AM going to the supposedly amazing kart track tomorrow. $60 for a full day.

Using the RC8R of course!!! It beat the shit out of me. Kart tracks are no joke having to whip the bike around and shit. I also had a good deal of practice on backing the rear in end and using my knee to keep me from goign down lol. I'm getting good at it, but it's kind of freaky. Wheelies down the straights were sick. Some guy was wheeling down the straight in front of me, so I felt obliged to wheelie as I passed him . Kind of lame, but only decent video I have right now.
