lol these pieces were done in poorly strip clubs and bars... but there bewbs. now for legitimate pieces

this was done on the INSIDE of theCLEAR lexan body.. think about it for a second.

    some awards winners

my old truck and the first full size vehicle i ever painted

b/c more bewbs i also did the paint and came up with the design

    a Big project

one of my best that got repainted when the truck was sold

the cool part about this one is the fact that i left the old patina on the back of the O2 tanks. also it was done for a retiring fire cheif .the actual tank was found in a house that almost burnt to the ground

since im gonna be a post whore
and what post whore artist thread would be complete with out skulls

    more

    oh and fire

    playing with color

stuff i do at my job. i had to paint and clear this whole thing in 8 hours

    more job shit

so after all that i will leave you with one quote from picasso that i twisted for me

i have put my heard mind and soul into my art and it has left me heartless mindless and soulless i wish the curse of artistic creativity on no one..

that being said im probally going into an engineering degree or physics after spending nearly 17 years as a professional artists.

the work just isnt there and the whole art scene is so skewed by the phrase "everything is art" that i just cant stand it.

if it wasnt for the money most of this stuff wouldnt even exist

    hate to say it.

but and this is a huge BUT!

i still appreciate some forms of artwork.

NICE! I am loving the turn around. This thread was dead for a bit...

Nice flame works from the extremepaint. How long did it take you to get this good and is there a lot of room for mistakes?

    Re: Art Thread

thanks i was gonna bitch about art but i decided that would muddy up a perfectly good thread. the flames take a while to learn but once you get it you can screw up pretty bad and still be able to re do it with out repainting the base coat.

    Re: Art Thread

Well I have seen it done on those car and motorcycle shows where they rebuild and aftermarket build custom choppers and cars and it looks really difficult, especially the part where they draw lines by hand. got to be super steady...

Here is my tribute to a famous 2D artist. "Ascending and Descending" by MC Escher otherwise known as never ending stairs, now recreated in 3D. Took me more time to figure out how to do it, then to actually do it...

can't imagine how long it took to think it...
