I think you're right, Barn. Even as a person who exercises a lot, it'll be challenging to exercise EVERY day. It'll def take some commitment. Bring it on!

Getting mentally ready for this, it'll be quite a journey lol. Bring on 13'!
After my less than spectacular performance at Keystone, I definitely need to start exercising. Perhaps public shame will help me stay on top of it.
I am in.

It's not in the form of a "poster" or whatever, but one of my favorite motivationals came from a coach on the most recent The Ultimate Fighter season. He was putting his guys through hard cardio on the cycles and the treadmills, and to one of him he said something to the effect of...
"Don't let that machine break you! If that machine breaks you, what do you think a man is going to do to you?!"

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

Last day of laziness, ladies! Got your mile planned for tomorrow? Walk, run...whatever. Just as long as you get up and doooo eeeeet!
It's going to start out tricky for me. I'll be in a car on the way to Sedona to go mountain biking. Then, this week, I'll have to get my mile in each day before 4-6 hours of riding! Bring it on!!!!!
I think I'm going to be running on the bicycle path by my house on Bowles and C-470. Will try to make my goal to reach Wadsworth or close to that by the end of the cycle. I think it's like 2-3 miles just from Bowles to Ken Caryl Valley... Time to kick this year off right lol
I'm off of work for another week, so I'll have to either go-in anyway, to use the fitness center or hit the complex fitness center. I'll probably just go in, so I can feel the joy of driving away when I'm done.

Oh btw, I'm in.
I'd say that we just post them here. People discussing their concerns is valid and nothing wrong with that as far as I can see. If you want, we can start a new thread, but I don't think it's necessary.
So just post up that you completed a mile after you've done it!
Happy new year!
WOrks for me.
1.1 miles walk run today, me and my running buddy need to get back in step. And train the other idiot on how to run as a team.
Def need gloves, who agreed to do this in January?

Just ran 2 miles on the treadmill, don't really have warm enough clothing to run outside this cold. Did 2 miles cause I won't be able to run tomorrow due to training, it'll be too much for one day and don't want to risk injury.
Way to go, guys!
9+hours of driving to Arizona, followed by a cold walk in the dark. Got my mile in.
I'll join in I've been doing a 5 k a night. I need to get up to a 10k in a month or so.
Just finished tonight's in 25 minutes. Not great, but ok. Cut 3 minutes off yesterday.
The Nike gps watch is money, and motivates me and helps track all my stats.

Just got back from the office and got my mile done. Didn't have much of a workout aside from the run, but at least it's in the books. 1-down, 29-to-go.

1st day in the books. Little over a mile walk/run.
Got my mile in this am before some mountain biking. It actually felt pretty good to wake my legs that way. Am I gonna sleep good tonight!
Whew! Day 2 done. Legs felt really good but my lungs are not exactly in shape. Been too long since I've done some running.
I'm already in the "owe" column. Appear to have contracted a little stomach bug and the only running I've been doing, is to the bathroom. =\
2-down, still-29-to-go.

I think you guys are awesome for doing this! I would join but after completing tough mudder I've reduced my cardio to the bare minimum and have focused back on weight gain much like Nate. Ill be watching the thread to see how much ass you guys are kicking!
