    Best Online Ammo Places

Looking for 5.56. Already ordered some from BulkAmmo. Georgia-Arms is out. Where else that's reputable?...

I have made a few purchases from http://palmettostatearmory.com/ and I have had nothing but good experiences. My dad uses them as well.

    Re: Best Online Ammo Places

Got some BulkAmmo yesterday, they're out today. AmmoSeek doesn't list 5.56. FreedomMunitions is out. Palmetto is out of all 5.56 except Frangible...

Anything I should know before ordering this type? Read briefly online that it's for close quarters and hybrid materials that break up before going through walls, etc. Possibly dubious accuracy, but who cares I'm not in a shooting competition. My handgun is for home defense, not my rifle.

And it's CHEAP, like 50cents/rnd at Palmetto, in stock. Think I'll jump on some, thoughts?...

Lots of choices, not much of it cheap. Usually really good to find ammo but since all this supply and demand crap it's gotten all jacked up. I think it's still not bad for pistol rounds. I'll keep buying at Wally's for my .40, they aren't jacking up prices.

What's your rifle for? If not for competitions or home defense? I'd still want an accurate round no matter what, that way when it's time to go to work, you're still doing the same thing as before. Train as you'd fight type of deal.

Thanks, guess I wasn't using their search engine properly.

As for the Frangible... Range/sport/hobby shooting. I should've clarified, not for professional competition. Obviously accuracy is a key, but it seems from what I read, they're talking about like combat/military and real competitions of pro shooters, where you would notice a difference in accuracy.

Not enough for someone like me. Or is it really that bad?

Dunno, pick some up and tell us bout it! I've never shot frangible rounds.

I've been checking out Armslist too. Sometimes you can snag a good deal if you get to someone quickly.

Get that shield you've been eyeing yet?

Nya, Shield or Baby Eagle on hold.

Spent $500 more than originally thought I would to get into a nicer rifle, no regrets. Also stocked up on some ammo today from three sites, there's another few $$. Also got some little trinkets for my gun from BravoCo., Botach, & Intense...

From what I'm finding - looks like pretty much everywhere is out of bulk of any quantity (even Winchester white box 100rnd) in 9mm plinker quality. You can still find home defense rounds, but not simple, cheap round nose.

One does not simply buy ammo locally.

Haven't tried, thought they only sold MRE's, knives, and nuclear fallout shelters or something. I do wanna visit to see the 1950's pinup hotties though...

Underneath the pool, installed by RapidfireBunker:

KIDDING! I'll totally check them out if they have 5.56/.223 in stock, or getting any shipments...

Rumor floating around the interwebs that WalMart has suspended all ammunition resupply orders in preparation for tomorrow's Biden announcement.

I fear perhaps they know something that does not bode well for the concept of easy access of ammunition.

I thought you said good prices... Holy hell it's expensive there.
In the Springs you can go to the Shootin' Den but it's limited to a box/customer for steel cased .223 FMJ at 10 per box of 20.

Damn, that's the cheapest I could find on AmmoSeek.com. I'd rather buy locally, but I NEVER see any in stock nowadays. :/
