It is very good for the motor indeed, plus your heater gets warm quicker. But for my $900 daily driver, it's hard to justify spending 20% of the vehicles value on a heater haha.

My father-in-law sent one to put on the jetta. But there were no flat surfaces to stick it to. And the oil pan is aluminum. However I have plugged it in for a couple seconds, it's starts getting warm pretty quick! I don't see why it wouldn't work. The magnet is pretty stout as well.Originally Posted by Ghosty
