Yo CSC - We need cornerworkers!

That's right, the MRA needs cornerworkers! We've been a little light staffed this year, and we need some of you to come on out and help. what do you get for it?

    - The BEST seat in the house! I'm serious. You couldn't stand with the spectators next to the track and get a view this good.
    - $50/day, plus a bonus for consecutive days worked
    - Free lunch
    - Free drinks (gatorade, water, sometimes soda) throughout the day
    - Did I mention the view of the action?

No prior experience is necessary! All we ask is that you wear light colored clothing (white is best, jeans are ok if you don't have white pants), absolutely no red or yellow showing. Bring work gloves, a whistle if you have one, sunscreen, and an enthusiastic attitude. Show up at the track by 7am on any MRA race day (we're racing this weekend from Friday through Monday) to sign in, and we'll show you what to do from there!

A lot of you have already done this, and we want to have you back out there. PPIR is a fun track to work, and you'll learn a lot about track riding in the process too.

We're also racing at Pueblo on Sept 24/25, and Second Creek on Oct 1/2 - we need workers for those events as well.

Contact me with any questions, otherwise I hope to see you there!

I think it's $35 per person.. but if your hotel is only $50 then that's what you wll be reimbursed (not $70)... just submit your hotel bill. (it was confusing to me the first time I did it)

Sorry Ralph, I had planned on being there this entire weekend, but my wife had emergency surgery and I'm stuck with the kids this weekend.

    THAT WAS A BLAST!...

It didn't even really seem like you were 'working'. Stand there in the sun, just as you would if you were a spectator, wave a few flags, pick up some bikes... get paid.. have lunch.. all the water your bladder can hold, and free beer.. what could be more fun?

mmmm.. the smell of race fuel as bikes go by at 100+ mph (except ralph)..hehe...

Even got to see some !!!!!

Yeah Monky actually didn't suck at cornerworking! I figured we'd have to slap him around at least a couple times.

And you're right monky, I wasn't running race fuel this weekend. Friggen gas to drive down there drained me, I just put 85 in the bike all weekend. Seemed to do ok though.

I think he was refering to the 100mph+

Thanks to all that stand out there so we can ride, and big thanks for getting those crashes out of turn 3 with minimal yellows and no RED!
