Is there any comparison to Deal's Gap (Tail of the Dragon)? Just curious cause I have yet to find roads out here that come close to those coveted 13 miles of mountain twisties.

1700 miles in 3 days on my 750 makes my ass hurt just thinking about it... After just a couple hours I am wantin to be done.

Anytime in June it's probably going to be too hot. It was 95 in Clifton when we went last year mid-April. June, July, August... it's 110.
This trip is limited to late Spring and early Fall. I'll plan on running it in September as well.

I've never had a problem booking hotels upon arrival. The hotel in Gallup (I think it's a red roof inn) has a nice indoor pool and hot tub so bring your shorts.
If Aaron and Drano want to room together, that's their business. In this modern age I don't discriminate for "life style" choices.We could probably get a room with a King and they could just share that.
