    At home tire changing equipment?

I'm sure there's a few people out there that change their own motorcycle tires.

I go through a set of tires every month during the riding season. Any recommendations for the equipment to break the bed, remove and install the tire and a gravity balancer?

    Thanks,

    Clovis

I don't own one but I've heard good things about the No-Mar setup.

My last tire we spooned on with cheap HF spoons (note: use rim protectors!). To break the bead we set one end of an aluminum ramp on the tire and the other on a step and jumped on it. Worked great had the tire off and on in about the same amount of time as a shop!

However I too have heard good things about the no-mar setup.

No-Mar makes a solid piece of equipment. Just make sure you use their technique.

Interesting. It looks like a Chinese knock-off of the Coats RC-150 but considering the RC-150 sells for over $6000 I can give up a little quality for $5000 savings.

No-Mar. I have one. Portable and won't break the bank. They will replace free whatever breaks. Barring malice.

Does anyone have a link to the No-Mar you're talking about?

I know a rider with the NoMar Blue package and loves it. He changes tires probably as frequently as you do, Clovis.

I'll take the wheel balancer if it's still for sale.
