Main Grandstand Club Level Austin Tickets

Thought we were getting tickets at Turn 15. Turned out Nephew liked the main grandstand better. (Jumbo Trons, the pit view, the view of the grid and the start) As usual, as soon as he purchased the tickets 4 people canceled. I have four tickets for sale You will be sitting with kawasakirob, myself and 2 other big time fans. First beer on me. $199 each. Good for all 3 days.

If you got them in a couple more weeks I'll probably jump one of these.... What do you guys usually do about booking hotels and stuff? Is it better to book from now since I heard it's a bitch to get them close to the date?

We camp. If you do let me know. Otherwise lots of rooms at all levels of cost. I would book a room as soon as you purchase a ticket.

I've never been out to a race before but definitely want to make it to one this year and seems like Austin is a better race to be at than Indy. If you guys don't mind me camping along with then that's cool. I'm checking out hotels now and they're running around $120-160 a night for a 3 star hotel so F that. I'd rather put that money towards food and drinks to share with you guys lol

If you have not been to a MotoGP then you must go. We (kawasakirob and I) do Monterey almost every year. Monterey is fantastic. We have also done Indy and we were not to impressed.

Do Austin this year and plan on a ride to Monterey next year. If we hit it off we will ride out together. I know some great roads along the way.

Not sure but most likely driving since given we'll be camping then I assume you guys are driving as well to pack all the stuff and what not.

Is that Laguna?... Yea I've heard from a few friends that Indy was not very good which is why I opted out of it. Saw the F1 race on TV this past fall at Austin and man that track looks like just retarded fun!

This would be awesome if you guys could come. We will be driving out to Austin, but for Laguna, we will be riding. And we pack everything on the bikes. Hope you can make it!!

We are driving. Laguna (Monterey) is simply great. Side trips such as lunch at Alice's are hard to beat.

Quick ride south to Big Sur, Saturday night on Cannery Row. Great time. Long ride there but then again that's why we ride bikes.

So you guys are riding to Laguna for 14'? If so I'm sure I'll be able to go as that's plenty of time out for me to get a touring bike with proper gear and join in the quest haha... Always wanted to do long distance riding (did do long distance with my gsxr to Arizona and then to houston but man that was HELL! )

MotoGp is selling tix now, but they are slightly more. These are a good buy! Not much passing to see Turn 1 for F1 was superb so hope to see from that angle or turn 12 for the last passes for the lead.

One item to note, being in covered stands in April in Austin is recommended by my local friends there. Rain in "Tay-has" ain't nothing to mess with lol

Well fellas I'm out, uncle sam straight F'd me this year on taxes and after all the money they take from me, I magically ended up owing them $300 on top of that so that puts me in fooked/broke mode... Will be looking towards laguna next year for sure though
