GoPro. Does it contain evidence that can help or hurt you?

I'm going to be buying a Go Pro here in a couple weeks.

I have a dash camera on my cop car, and absolutely love it. I can't tell you how many times that video has saved my ass because of a complaint. And, in my most recent accident, it totally backed up the mitigating circumstances even though I was still at fault.

The thing about car wrecks is that if it's a he said she said, and we can't prove fault, you're responsible to fix your own car/bike even if you weren't at fault. Well video solves everything. So I'm going to buy one, and put mounts and chargers on every vehicle I own, and record all of the time. I encourage you to do the same. If a cop tells you to turn it off, well that's your choice on what to do, but I'd never tell someone that. I want my contacts on video.
