What's with all the 'seasonal' commentary? How can you not ride year 'round?

Funny story, have I told you I hate wiring? My CBR has no signals/brake/tail lights currently. Bought an integrated brake/signal light to clean up the back, looks like the R1s have. Previous owner messed up all the factory wiring. So the integrated unit I bought that is plug and play with the factory wiring harness, isn't so easy to install. Instead of just matching up the connectors, I have to try to figure out the wires.

Would that have any effect on my turn signals not working? Neither the front or rear brake activates the brake light.

I'm assuming it has to be the contact points, something in there it's either corroded or just loose... I would start with connectors and switches and if not move to maybe a short somewhere along the wiring which that'll get shitty

Sasha, this isn't one of your "I'm gonna host a ride, and not show up." rides is it?

Weather.com is saying that it is going to be 57 degrees on Sunday, March 3rd. So the weather should not be an issue or excuse for anyone.

j0ker is going to try to make it but he's not sure if he will be back by Sunday from KS.

    PM sent.

Interested in this ride. Depending on weather leading up to the day, and weather that day.

I have become a fair weather rider after being caught in canyons after dark when it gets colder... Maybe I'm a wuss, but I have an awesome diesel cage for bad weather...

I busted ass and got everything done over the weekend so I could make it back before I got snowed-in in Kansas. The roads last night were pretty much solid ice from about an hour before the Colorado boarder all the way into Longmont. Luckily my rental was a AWD Venza. That thing was awesome.

Next weekend, if its nice I'm riding!
