Sunday only MotoGP tix

I've looked around quite a bit on-line for Sunday-only tickets for MotoGP at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin April 21st, but I can only seem to find 3 day packages. Has anybody seen anything that I missed?

I called a Costco in Austin to see if they had tickets, but I couldn't get anyone to answer a phone that knew if they do (or will) have tickets. The Costco in Santa Cruz had tickets for the US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca last summer at a really good discount.

So, I followed up with a call to COTA today. Here's the deal:

They sell ONLY the 3 day ticket packages. If they are not sold out, they will offer admission at the gate on Sunday.

My wife and I were talking about grabbing some airline tickets down to Austin on Saturday and going to the races on Sunday. I'd spend 3 days there, but my wife would be bored out of her mind. I'm not about to head down without a ticket. I think this is a major fail for COTA.

We'll be down there for three days. Oh, and don't worry. COTA knows what they are doing. You just have the wrong wife that can't hang with you for three days of fine motorbike racing

Too much money, time and effort to get a new one.

I'll be getting a ticket on the Thursday before the race. General Admission. If you want it you can have it.
