I have the DVR set to record all F1, it was ready to go when I got up Sunday morning, qualifying was waiting on Saturday morning and practice 1 & 2 was on there Friday morning. Remember the Australian/Asian races are "live" around 1:30 in the morning. They also have the pre-race show as a separate show on the Directv so you have to set that separately on a DVR.

The separate pre-race is a bit of a pain, as I can't set it up as a series recording. My dumb ass will probably forget a few times this year.

I just got direcTV a few weeks ago. I had BeIN as a channel because I had scopped through to see some dirtbike riding. When SBK was doing a reun this last weekend I set it to record. When I went to watch it it was all blank and said I am not authorized to see the content, looks like in the last week or so someone at direcTV realized I am not paying for the channel and blocked it WEAK! I was hoping to see SBK on there and MotoGP on speed

You need a sports package to see BeIN. I have over 200 channels with DirectTV but don't have it either.

I was able to make it a series recording on Directv.

I have Sports Pack so it showed up on mine, I thought it was a separate pay sports channel like the one that had a bunch of Australian Rules Football a few years ago. So I was surprised when it was active.
