Wow, interesting article. I hope more parents read this shit, especially the part about his Mother's enabling role, as painful as it is to say.

Too bad about them having to post up a nice pic of an AR-15, as if that made a difference vs. any other reloadable rifle he could've used. Also they keep emphasizing that he was an "insane videogamer", ugh. As expected, missing the REAL issues of mental health, parental responsibility, etc. All playing more roles, than any videogames did.

Definately his mother was a FAR to lax and enabling parent, like the parents of the columbine thugs, but I DO believe video games like that have an influence, especially to someone who is as twisted as this kid was. Basically, it sounds like the video gamers WERE his parenting. C'mon now, the armed forces train with video before they do live fire exercises. Of course this has an influence on kids too.
