    Big Bertha does Highway 7

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2_Cu...ature=youtu.be

A video from the 2012 season. A CSC ride down Highway 7.

This should give you all a taste of the pace to expect on the 2013 Devil's Spine epic trip

I remember that trip! That was just you and me from CSC. The rest were with my friend's group. That was the trip where the rain decided dump on us the whole way home after Oskar Blues. Good times.

That's right I was going through my raw gopro videos from last year and figured I could make a movie or two

What are you riding on that trip? It looks big but you seem to be whipping it around just fine.

It's my FJR. It's a big bike, not quite as nimble as my 600 was but she still gets down

Nice ride! I always loved the FJ line. Are those add on ass cushions? And are they heated? Looks like they would slip around on you while you ride.

Does the State of Colorado charge you for road repairs when you put grind marks around every corner on the highway?

I was sort of wondering about your pegs too. I borrowed a ST1100 for a few days when I first got up here. That thing was tricky on the corners cause the pegs would hit .... often.

Yes. Clovis had to out dirt bike pegs on his FJ so that when he scrapes them they fold up instead of grinding.

If you like red and blue lights, a combined IQ of 9, a group of hooligans more retarded than the special group in public schooling, and endless insults on your manhood or your desire for another man's, uh, manhood.

You forgot to add 200+++ mile rides, and I can personally vouch for red and blue lights on a Clovis ride.

200 mile? If I'm lucky. Clovises newest rocket scientist plan is like 1600. FML

Is anyone else having issues with CSC today? I had replied to Aaron's crying but just got a server not found error.

Aaron, we did this last year. We invited you but I think you were on your period or something. But seriously, pretty sure you had worked the night before and were sleeping.

Nope. We were just trying to get you banned for exceeding the CSC displacement limit and having a non sportbike, but being faster than everyone still.

Sleeping through a ride? Sounds like something I'd have done. Maybe this year I'll be better!

    Nice Fj!!
My pops has one I've yet to ride it all that much but I've noticed him wearing out fronts fast and kinda strange looking. You have any problems with yours?

It has really low metal parts that like to scrape. And Clovises in particular has an uncanny attraction to laying on its side when on pavement

The seat cushions are air hawks. They strap on. The riders seat doesn't slide around but mrs Clovis complained hers did.

The plan is to get a russle all day saddle made, just need to order it.

Love the sport tourer Clovis. Thinking I may sell the Ducati and get a Kawasaki Concours. Looks like a whole lot more comfortable.

Its not how fast you go, its how little you slow down.

It's more comfortable but it has it's limitations. The lack of ground clearence was the biggest thing for me.

I replaced the foot pegs with Motorcross ones (shorter and angled up). The stock ones would grind down and present a danger. I've grinded away parts of my kick stand away. Dragging the mufflers is sometimes an issue but only on the most agressive lean angles.

I bought the FJR specifically to ride two-up with my wife. The plan was to keep my FZ6 and the FJR but my better half had other plans

I would look at getting a FZ1 - similar comfort to the FJR but better handling and cheaper.

I've never had any major issues with mine. 36k and going strong. I do seem to burn through tires quickly, but that's more on me than the bike.
