Right now in live timing Rossi is topping the time sheets!! I'm sure it will change as they have still a full hour left in testing. But good to see "The Doctor" on the top spot for a little bit, especially at a track he loves to ride. Rossi is actually under Pedrosa's "Fastest Race Lap" record at the moment. And about a second off Lorenzo's Best Lap

He was almost 8 secs behind at testing yesterday, he must have slept well!

Yeah he ended up 2 seconds down at the end of the day to Lorenzo.

They got rained out bad yesterday. I don't think anyone was really going to give it much yesterday. Read an article saying most teams only had 4 sets of actual race rain tires and that most teams were leery of burning those tires up, unless they absolutely needed to go out on rain tires.

Right now, they're all running on full slicks.


P.S.
I will say this much, if he manages to hold the session out at the top of the time sheets, this will give Rossi a huge confidence boost going into Qatar in two weeks time.

Heck yeah not bad at all. Was expecting Rossi to not do as well since him and Lorenzo were on the new chassis. As they've always said " write Valentino Rossi off at your peril!"
