It's been a great bike, I love it's versatility. The performance to keep up with most super sports, comfortable, good mileage, reliability, and that sound. But for me it was a bad fit, I've always loved the super sports, and I am a complete horsepower addict.

I must have missed the part in that wall of words where you said you couldn't afford a fully faired bike?

Nice bike man, I have always like the SVs and this is a fine example. I love the dual headlight look on this bike along with bar end mirrors to ditch the bug antenna on there now.

Grim - go become a member at SVRider.com. There is a lot of great resources over there and some people that really know their stuff. You'll quickly weed out the twatwaffles that are just there as trolls and you can ignore them. Enjoy the new ride; it's a great looking bike.

    Argh!

I wish I could congrat you, my friend. It's always fun to get a new bike, but I just can't stand the look of those naked SV's. I think it'll be perfect for what you want, good engine, reliable and fun to ride...but the naked ones are sooooo ugly!

Oh that's no joke there! Aside from the flaming, it's a great resource with tons of advice and guides for turning your bike into a dream machine. I think you're going to be having a lot of fun with the sheer amount of customization you can do.

When the lights are turned off it doesn't really matter which fat roll you decide to make love to.

    Haha I love naked bikes....so does Johnny5

I've been considering letting the daytona go for a speed triple for the same reason. After having a sumo I've realized I'm slow and bored on my daytona.

A little bit but not much, still get wind on the chest but i am 6' 4" so any bike except a cruiser will have wind pushing against me in the chest.
