    Layed off....

So I discovered yesterday that I am being layed off at the end of the month which as most know is not a good thing. My background is in the automotive industry, mainly management. I have a degree from CSU in Automotive Industry management. Though that is my background I'm not necessarily looking for auto specific, just looking for a good career that I can stay with and support my family. I can supply a resume at any time if anyone knows of anything.

Hah... I just saw a few automotive related positions at Roush, coincidentally. (well, they're ALL automotive related, but these were in Henderson CO.)

If you haven't met Mike, he's a very honest, professional and hard working guy. Anybody who refers him for a job will not be disappointed.

+1. Mike is a good guy.

The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

WOW!!! I use to be a Vehicle evaluator for them about 10 years ago. That was the funnest job I've ever had. I got paid to drive prototype cars. Too bad the pay for drivers wasn't that great.

Don't know if they have any positions open in your field but with your degree you may be a candidate for any number of management positions. Put in an app or whatever they do now online. Check it every month or so to keep it current. Took them 6 months to call me in for an interview..... Good luck out there.
