    Stock gearing = 41/16 = 2.56
    New gearing = 43/15 = 2.86

A diff of about 10.5%. Your speedo will read around 10.5% faster than with stock gearing.

Sorry to be noob about this so about 1 Mph faster per 10mph is safe to go off
if it said i was going 65 i would actually be going about 59

this will throw my mileage off too right unless i get a speedo healer

Yup, and most late model sportbikes already read high, so speed healer is the way to go.

Your stock speedo was probably off by 7% or so to begin with (has to do with Japanese and Euro sound check methods), plus the change in gearing may leave you closer to 20% off. Your odometer will probably be only 12% off, because most Japanese bikes have an accurate odometer even though the speed reading is a bit optimistic. So you can correct either the speedo, or the odometer, or average between the 2, with a speedo healer.

I had a SpedoDRD on my R1 before I got my gear indicator from Pat. Thing worked awesome.
