Fuck...Been a massive Slayer fan since about '86 when I was 12-13. Seen them about 6 times over the years including at Red Rocks in '90. This sucks

Yep! I remember I was bummed at the time because the European leg included Testament too! But not here in the states where it was AIC. I loved AIC too but still!

I was at that Red Rocks show with Meagadeath and Alice in Chains getting shit thrown at them.
Slayer at the Mammoth was one of the best shows I,ve been to in my life

I was at both of those shows. Slayer at the mammoth was with Testament. My friend got a couple broken bones in the pit. People were going ape shit ripping pipes out of the ceiling on the upper level. It was a good show indeed.

Sad day, ive seen slayer 2-3 time over the years, slayer and pantera had really good live shows had tons of energy that most bands just can't match.
