I'm looking at a car in castle rock. Is there a chance that anyone could take a look at it tomorrow afterwork around 6:00pm? I just need a basic assessment before I drive over the mtns. Prefer someone I know, but beggers cant be choosers. Let me know.

I'm looking at this LINK and I don't know an exact location or time. I would put the person who could look at it, in contact with the seller. I just know that he's not in-town on sat or sun. If it checks out on Fri, I'll hitch a ride with one of my buddies heading back to Denver on Sunday night and buy the car on Monday.

All I'm looking for, is someone to:
- make sure oil doesn't leak
- it doesn't smell like an ashtray
- there isn't a huge rip in the seat
- it starts
- etc. Just look it over.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you considered a formal auto inspection? I've used AutoMDS twice and was satisfied with their services. It was around $140 for a pretty inclusive inspection. If the car checks out you may want to have them go and look at it…they are mobile and will go to the car.

Normally, this would be a good idea. But it's a 2012 with 21k miles privately owned. I'm not overly concerned that something is wrong, just want to get a pair of eyes on it. Thanks for the advice.

Just wanted to follow up on this thread and give a big thanks to Ezzzzy1. He was willing to take time out of his life, for a person he's never met, and basically run an errand for me. Pretty cool if you ask me. Thanks man, I hope I can return the favor someday.
