Premier Credit Union, any dealings with them?

Thinking about doing a used car loan with them as they have a good rate, anyone have any dealings with them? Thx!

I can't speak for that credit union, but we use Westerra Credit Union and they are amazing! CU is the way to go vs a bank.

I deal with this a lot.

Never heard of those guys but...

Pentigan FCU has the best rates in the country for car loans if you have great credit. They go up to 100% LTV

Ent FCU (Colorado Springs) goes up to 125% and has very good rates as well.

My Experian score was 727, even with the back child support showing as a "past due".

I'm in Aurora, and work in Centennial, Premier was close, and the used loan rate was 3.04%, which is actually better than the Toyota financial rate I have now (3.29%).

Penfed is 1.74% for 72 months (www.penfed.com) -- membership is free btw.

Ent is 2.9 for 60 months and 3.49 for 72 months but they allow up to 125% of the NADA retail value if you wanted to do cash out on the refinance. www.ent.com

Hmmmm, are those numbers over prime, or total interest? I'll have to look into that, thanks!

Hmmm, ENT seems pretty cool, and with the cash out deal this might be EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Get that bitch X off my back over some of these arrears.....

No those are just the rates. Ent is great for banking and car loans, I've used them for 28 years. I would plug my own bank (great western bank) but mortgage loans are our strong point, not so much with car loans.

I am with Clovis - Pentagon was always good to me... https://www.penfed.org/
I am not sure if they deal with the general public yet. If they do --they have great rates.

You have to join. No local branches but they lend in Colorado. Membership is free.

did you guys have to get a credit check ran when you joined your CU? When I sold my Xterra in OK and opened a savings account so I had somewhere to cash the check, they made me run a credit score just for a savings account. Make any sense? But yeah, CU FTW

They seemed pretty cool. Premier wanted me to jump thru some hoops I wasn't comfortable with, but ENT seemed really cool. I might just do the cash out thing and pay off some shit hanging over me. Ok, so, I add another 3 years to my loan, but at a reduced rate and if it clears the other issues, it'll be worth it. Plus, it's a slightly better rate than what I have thru Toyota, so.

    Thanks Clovis!

I'm a member of Premier Members CU, but only because I use to work for IBM. IBM EFCU became Premier, or Premier just absorbed the IBM CU. Their rates didn't seem that great to me. And they definitely don't do collector-car loans.

Just apply at different places and tell them to not do a "Hard Inquiry" that will tag your credit score. See if you can get a soft preliminary approval rate/quote. If this is possible.

There are other alternatives with better rates ....
Just go into your local bank and dress like this...
