Erik Peat at Apex

It was time for a new helmet. Went to see Erik at Apex.
He recommended an Arai, of course. He gave me the spiel and measured my head, and I thought "yeah, yeah -a helmet is a helmet".
After he was done and I tried on the various Arai models, I came to realize that there is a huge difference in helmets and the way they are manufactured. He even matches online deals.

Really appreciated Erik's time and patience. If you're considering a new helmet (regardless of the brand), I would encourage you to stop by at Apex in Colo Spgs. Always great to support a local shop and MRA racer!

+1. Just picked up an a* compression jacket and boots for the dirt. Their staff took a lot of time talking to me about different gear options.

Additionally, Randin spent a great deal of time talking bikes with us until I found what I was looking for. Even then, he was patient the next 3-4 times I came in and still didnt buy. There was never any pressure, and always input for questions.

On a side note, the women's compression jacket is super awesome. I think I'm in love.
