Well not really but every year we have a 100,000 foot ride which is riding over 10, 10,000 foot passes. Well I only got to 70,000 feet today.

First up was a run over to Winter Park for a subway sandwich. Over Berthoud pass counts as a 10K pass. It was a bit chilly up there first thing in the morning.

WP has what ever type of cuisine you want, all in one building.

Now what to do, the day is still young, Well OK lets run over to Breckenridge. Back over Berthoud pass and then over Loveland pass. 2 more 10K passes down. Starting to warm up Nicely.

They are still skiing at Arapahoe Basin. Ignore the no parking sign, nothing to see here.

From there over to Breck via Swan Mountain pass and then to the top of Hoosier pass. AhA, 2 more 10K passes.

This is such ugly country.

Then down to Fairplay and home via Red mountain pass and Kenosha pass racking up two more.

The unobstructed view from Kenosha pass. Can you say South Park? Yes the one with Kenny and Kyle.

And for those of you taking bets on when Webster pass will open, well NOT YET.

So that was my day on the Stelvio. Averaged about 40MPG actual with the computer saying 41. Gas light came on at 235 miles.
