    Clean your gear?

So when I picked up my SV yesterday I picked up a new joe rocket 3.0 and riding pants too. After putting the new bike through a small errand trip,I see lots of big splat already. Any suggestions on cleaning your gear after rides????

Armor All Cleaning wipes are really handy for splats. Most of that gear you can remove the armor and gently wash the shells.

I remove the armor and wash my jacket once every five years - whether it needs it or not. There is a special detergent you can buy that is supposed to preserve water resistance. Hang up everything as soon as the washer is done. Never use the dryer for your gear.
