    Registration is closed

    Got a new person trying to register and it says it's closed. Should I just manually add them, or is something funky going on?

    Registration was closed on 6/11 because, after the software upgrade, my code changes (to help reduce the number of spammers who join) were lost, we had over 600 spammers join in less than 3 days, and I didn't have server access to reinstate the code changes.

    I still don't have the server access I need to make the necessary code changes, but I reopened registration on 7/15 after receiving a few emails from people who wanted to join. Unfortunately, we're now getting over 600 spammer registrations per day, and I don't have time to go through each of them manually, so even though people can register, their accounts aren't getting approved (unless they email me directly).
