    You won't need anything for the short trip to GC as I took my stock 04 R1 to Indy for the MotoGP race and did over 900 miles in a day. The flat seat will make you feel like you passed-out at the gay bar but you'll be stopping every 130-140 miles for gas and a strech anyways..

    Ride to GC and back to Denver twice in the same day and you'll know what I mean.... When I got off the bike I walked like I was jumping hurdles!

    I got some good tips on this thread http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forum...-Extended-Ride related to the same topic. I've been concentrating on using my core and knees to grip the tank and it seems to be helping the wrist/back/neck issue. No relief for my ass though. Might just need a new seat to solve that one (and bike shorts as suggested).
