Looking for a new seat, thoughts?

So i have been searching for a few weeks now for a new seat, ever since I did a long ride through South Park(my ass still hurts thinking about it).. Anyway, I have found 3 I thought would work.

CMSEATS comes highly recommended but is the most expensive

    http://www.cmseats.com/page6.html

Next up is Sargent seats, but the process is a bit more than I thought it would be. sending in my seat for foam upgrading and such

    http://www.sargentcycle.com/Seats-Ac...ckage-Options/

Third and final one is the ole faithful Corbin gunfighter & Lady saddle

Has anyone here had any experience with any of these seats and what are your thoughts?

I have a Sargent on the Duc. My ass really appreciates it. No sending in my seat for me. Just purchased a new replacement.

Here is a thread from earlier with some good info on seats:

    http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forum...t-Seat-reviews

I too am looking for a good seat for me SV650. Stock was hard, the OEM gel seat retains heat like an oven pan and is also hard and shoves me forward into the tank so riding is uncomfortable

I had a Sargent on my SV1000S, and was so happy I bought one for my S1000RR soon after I bought the bike. Love it. You don't need to send your seat in, just buy the Sargent seat and put it on.

I like the look of the seat they have on the web page, but am a little shy of spending the money.

Customer service at Sargent says i need to send in my seat as they dont offer a pre-built model for the VFR1200 F. I find it hard to believe as the bike is 3 years old already, so I am looking at alternatives honestly.

they have a 3 to 4 week turn around right now and that I find unacceptable.

I still have pondered the guy that charges $50 for the seat cover:

People say great things, then again people say you can go to a local shop and they can do it for $20. I don't know exactly what to try and do. Corbin and Sargeants are pretty pricey. If I could get my stock seat done with the honeycomb type stuff it might be worth a shot for $20 if a local upholstry shop can do it

I am now looking at a local custom seat place, a little bit cheaper but turn around is fast and its local.. They will add the gel pads and color to the pipe so it should be good, going by on thursday this week to check them out and sit my butt on one of their demo's there..

I had a seat done by Alex at http://www.gowestseats.com and that turned out quite nice. Nice lady, works out of her house (at least she did 1.5 years ago when I had the seat done).
