Anyone know where I can get or happen to have the rubber thingy that goes on the Foot gear change pedal on a 2007 Gixxer?

Pulled self from ride, some comments before ride started made me feel uncomfortabel and decided it was best.

    Re: Saturday riding

This was just ment to be an internal ride with some people, as one riders comment was, fend for yourself or don't ride (not a group ride) and realized this within 20 minutes in, so just my perspective was it was not ment for this somewhat new rider and it was safer if I just pulled off and went another route.

For sake of me not getting bashed on here, just not my experience level or group ride I am interested in.

Not really.... There were two groups.... One that wasnt posted and this ride... This ride took over the other ride. Think it kinda came down to misunderstanding + a little shit talking. Sorry you bailed. Was a pretty mellow pace all things considered.

FWIW I was doing a bit of lane bashing on the way home. So I guess I'm an Asshat.

    Re: Saturday riding

Drama2, I think you said your name was Carrie. I'm Matty by the way. I believe it was me, on the neon green and black gsxr, who made some sort of comment about, "if you plan on joining the group that was about to take off, I hope you can keep up!" Basically saying if you're a n00b you might want to stay with the second group. at that time I thought there were two groups. Then, I believe it was Nolan who volunteered to sweep as one large group.

I wish you stayed. We actually got caught in traffic the whole way up and rode a snails pace. Until at least Pine Junction!!!

Sorry if my remarks frightened you off. Not my intention. I've been part of this lil club for quite some time and tend to lead, not this ride, but a lot of these and I ALWAYS wait for the last person before we're off to the next stop. but if you felt uncomfortable I completely understand, there's been plenty of rides that I've backed out of cause I wasn't feeling it.

Good ride. Mellow pace, nice bikes, and good roads.

Here are some pics I took.

    Re: Saturday riding

I had a blast! At least I did after the first portion which was spent dodging bicyclists and slow vehicles. I was the one with the GoPro and the orange and black gixxer. I'll see if I can get some of those video clips edited together to my standards and posted soon..

Hey guys thanks for the ride I really enjoyed it!

Could someone map out the route we took? I'm still learning all the roads around here and I'd definitely would like to hit those up again sometime. Thanks

    Re: Saturday riding

Too bad somebody got talked out of a ride today. I remember the days of the CSC, when we went out of our way to talk people IN to them. For shame.

On a totally unrelated note however, Big-J and I had a really nice ride today.

That does suck though it seems to have been a misunderstanding.

Had a pretty fantastic ride myself today.

    Re: Saturday riding

My perspective of this years group rides so far this year is blah. The good old days that I wasn't around for seem to be long gone. Everyone is riding their rides, not posting up, and definitely not posting up noOb rides. I'm on my second season and it looks like I've probably posted up more rides this year than the rest of the CSC. There hasn't been a "noob class" since May? I hope the "senior" club members are talking about helping to fold more people into the club. That's the only way I see the noobs (me) being safe, confident, and willing to help other noobs.

    End rant.
Great ride today. Everyday on my bike is great.

Niko... Anytime! That I'm not working and you can get your old ass out of bed early.

    Re: Saturday riding

Also for what it's worth, the only reason I'm at the ability I'm at now is for 3 or 4 people in the club that were willing to take the time to help me get better and pushing me beyond my perceived limits. To those people I'm grateful to. I'm a hell of a lot better rider than last year....when every ride I went on everyone was finished smoking when I showed up.
