I know Cleveland was out there taking some pictures and said you looked frustrated after I passed you and you couldn't get me back. Maybe he has some pictures of it

Damnit boys this was a track SCHOOL, not a RACE DAY!!!

speaking of which, for Track School 3 can we stick with the breaking up into sessions part because i know that was initially the big plan but it seemed to fizzle out after 11 or so.

and granted, i still had a great time out there, but i would have definitely been out there more if it was divi'd up into slow/fast groups/sessions.

As new to riding that i still am, i felt it was extremely frustrating and intimidating to be out there with people that were speeding past me and i honestly jumped hard enough the first time that i almost lost control of my bike.

I think the whole "school" thing has run it's course. The next one needs to be a track day, were everyone just comes as a participant. If people want to do sessions then some one needs to keep track of time and man the flagging, which means actually concentrating on it and not forgetting who is out and for how long. If people want help I am sure someone would be willing to work with these individuals.
This last time saw a lot of instructors and very little instructing, everyone was just riding.
BTW people track days are not just on days that CSC (Scott) organizes them. CDR has many days available, on weekday and weekends, Pueblo likewise. These days are not very crowded and would give the nervious noobs a chance to ride relativly alone, to get used to it. Just remember there will always be some one that is faster than you so get used to it.

    like Mista Black???

i'm quite aware that there is going to be someone faster, hell there are going to be alot of people faster than me and i'm used to that. I know that with time on my bike i will get faster and then i will be faster than someone else.. eventually. that is a given.

I was just asking that if there was going to be another one, and if it is going to be split up into sessions, that it remain that way. If i would have known that it was only going to be split up for the first half of the day and then a free for all the second part of the day, i would have either opted out, or see if someone wanted to go half on it.

I guess that after the posts of the MRA racers respecting the newbs and street riders respecting the racers, and the newbs and newbs being out of both the racers and street riders way via sessions mislead me to think that i was actually going to be out there with others that are on the same riding level and that it was going to be school oriented.

Track days, same thing.. knowing my comfort level and riding experience - or lack of- i don't want to be out there with experts either getting in the way or getting freaked out. because if i paid money to get on the track and i felt i didn't get my money's worth i'm sure the expert guy probably feels the same if he/she is constantly getting cut off by some newb learning their lines, or slowing them down.

i'll stick to ladies night if that's the case there are even less female riders it seems out on ladies night than regular track nights

I'll disagree with that. You just had to ask for help. There were alot of guys out there very eager to help out us newer riders. My wife Lori who has only been riding a couple months and was very nervous about her first track day, came away feeling much more confident and ready for more. Thanks to jplracing for working with her - you helped her alot. I actually got better instruction this time than last time - thanks to Dave Olcott mra #215 for working with me - that was a HUGE help.

I have already emailed the track manager at PMI to introduce myself and find out what the cost would be for a full day private rental. I don't know if its feasible to try to plan another track day this year (weather and holidays and such), but I am open to it - and at the very least, I will get a date set for our first track day in the spring.

Below are links to the video I took. There are 85 clips in the video. It's heavy on North-Central folks, but there are a few others mixed in. Runtime is about 24 minutes, download size is about 120MB.

There are six clips with unidentified riders (3 of them are the same rider). If anyone knows who they are I would appreciate it if you could let me know the clip number and screen name so I can update the video accordingly.

Streaming Server - will let you jump backward and forward within the video, but you can't right-click save-as to download the file to your PC.

Web Server - will let you right-click save-as to download to your PC, or pseudo-stream (plays as it gets sent to you like streaming, but you can't jump backward and forward within the video).

    Nate,

That video wasn't too bad. Pretty good work on the camera, etc. It did, however, have one glaring problem. NO PICTURES OF ME!!!!!! Well, actually, there were a few when I was riding around in a big pack playing follow the leader. BTW, I am the #84 blue bike and Yusuke (green_zx7r) is the #9 Kawasaki. We were in a few multiple bike ones.

So, what do you say? Any pictures of me? There was this one time I passed this guy on an F4 in the Rats Nest. That would be a great video to see .
