I've been wanting to do that road for a long time.

The only problem with Skyline Drive is that it's right outside of Canon City, which is in the opposite direction from CR9/HWY50 intersection. Factoring in that diversion will add ~20 miles and cost us ~40 minutes.

And I've never been a fan of Skyline. Decent views of a mediocre and average city, atop a rode that isn't terribly fun to ride on because you can't do much on it.

Not 100% sure I'm gonna make this I did more riding than I anticipated today and the rear tire is a little iffy, if I'm not at MOCO at 8:30 don't wait up for me.

Good thing that comment holds no weight since I never say anything about being fast, shouldn't you be powdering your butthole or something?

It was a great and safe day today. No incidents, and no performance awards, couldn't ask for a better outcome. It was a pleasure meeting everyone.

Nice turn out and pretty good weather! It started off freezing in the morning but by 11 I was swapping out the heated gear for non heated.

Good crew, good roads and fun had by all! Sorry I had to dip out before the castle, lunch ran a little long and I had another commitment at home.

    Re: Bishops Castle, Rye, Colorado

I forgot to offer my apologies for the road conditions between Victor and Cripple Creek, and from Cripple Creek to the CR11 junction. Between Cripple Creek and Victor is one of my favorite little stretches of road, but if I had known that it, and the other, would be torn up like that, I would have bypassed it all and saved us some time. That new section of road they're installing is really going to lessen the fun factor by a lot. May she rest in peace.
