What do you recommend other than tires and clip-ons (brand/type)? I have the gear. I weight 175 6 foot. Lanky arms lol.

Trying to get on the racetrack!
Headed out to IMI yesterday with 2 friends to help them out. Someone else with a white Triumph from this forum also happened to show up late in the day. Had fun throughout the day with some guys riding super moto's. A few of the super moto guys came up and were really cool, handed out a bunch of nice compliments.
Don't mind the guys talking..... one of them is the usual guy that runs the track with Scott, but the guy doing most of the "narrating" of his opinion is I believe a new'ish guy that works there. Scott wasn't there yesterday....

It's great if you like staying in 2nd gear all day. It's great trying to see if a go cart is up underneath you in a turn. Go buy some leathers and find a race track.
Nice video, I would like to go out and try that place out sometime and work on my lean angles and braking

So $40, anytime it's nice and I can go ride a small track? May have to take a day off next week if it looks nice.
Yes.... year around, just make sure nothing is on the schedule for the asphalt that day:

Weekends 9am till sun down
weekdays 10am till sun down
Yeah like I said, don't pay attention to the guy. There was a line of go kart people waiting and he was talking to them as if he knew what he was talking about. The super moto guy did know what he was doing among many others earlier in the day getting ready for a race Sunday.
They don't allow karts and bikes on the track at the same time and even though it is slower, it's still a lot of fun, especially for $40. That and you can play around and not have to worry so much about seriously injuring yourself or your bike. Just because it's not a big track doesn't mean it's not fun or that you're not going to learn anything.
