Prices? How much work is this going to be? Is it worth it?

I have a 2002 TL1000R and i would like to get the frame powder coated black. IS this mod going to be worth the time and of corse the DUCKETS$$$ to do?

if you plan to keep the bike for a long time and maintaine the appearance of the rest of the bike to matchup with how good the frame is gonna look it's worth it.

if there's a strong likelyhood you'll unload this bike in a years (or whatever... soonish) i wouldnt bother. why spend your $$$ to make somebody else's bike look good, cause unless you're dealing with a collector bike it's not going to pay for itself.

Its a lengthy process.. I did that on my 2001 GSXR 750. Between the cost of the bearings, powder coating and yer time spent .. really not worth it.

I've done it several times.

Not worth it. It looks cool of course, but holy shit is it a lot of damn work.
Only do it if your already planning to take the bike down, like for engine mods or something and can get a good deal on the coat.
Otherwise, you'll be sorry
