I was cleaning some '89 NT650GT carbs yesterday and came across a question. The front cylinder wasn't getting gas, but the rear cylinder was. So I cleaned the front carb then decided to do the rear at the same time. In the picture is the float valve from the rear. There is a little pin that sticks out of the top under the wire holder (away from the rubber point). On the front carb, that pin moves in and out easily. On the rear carb, the pin is solid and doesn't move. Anyone know if the pin is supposed to move or not? If so, what problems would you see form it being stuck?
