How is everyone getting down to Austin? I have been watching for cheap plane tickets, but I might just end up driving down.

Anybody find a good deal on flights yet?

I got mine for $228 on United. I would've done the Frontier deal, but work is sending me to ApacheCon in Denver this year so I had to leave later.

Sounds like we need a CSC get together down there? I am staying at the Drury Inn set aside for the track volunteers. I have a single room with one empty queen at this point if anyone is interested.

Throwing this out there. Several of us were thinking of a gathering at some BBQ joint in Austin on Saturday night. Will probably post up here or on FB once the plan solidifies.

Planning on being @ Indy if any CO peeps want to meet up...

Got stuck on a business trip next week or I'd be in Austin

It's not 2 wheels, but I might be able to check of a bucket list item and go to a Formula 1 race this year... in Singapore!!! W00T! Gotta love international business trips that are planned well!

I believe I will be there in Austin this weekend. I too was planning to try and get some good BBQ Saturday night. I have heard great things about the Salt Lick (Man Vs Food) as if it is one of the best if not the the best in Austin. I wouldnt mind hitting that but if you guys have another good place you recommend let me know! My cell is 818-430-8299 and if the flights don't fall through I should be there with another member of the csc psyclone (Luis)

Iron Works BBQ is very good, especially if you like beef.

    http://www.yelp.com/biz/iron-works-barbecue-austin

It's a nice spot, with outdoor seating next to Waller Creek.

Just set up the toy hauler at Oak Forest RV park north of the track. Will be trying to coordinate in the next few days. 80 degrees here, at 8pm. Gonna be hot!

Well, the big boy lens does have its advantages. Pretty small crowd yesterday, much smaller than say Laguna.
