    So, btw I'm a daddy now.

    It's only 3 weeks late but Mrs. Clovis and I welcomed our first child, a little daughter into the world on Feb 26th 2014.

    River Samantha Harward (or "River Sam" for you Firefly fans out there), coming in at 6lbs, 14oz -- 20 inches and 1/4 in length. Born at home with just Shannon, myself, our midwife and the midwife's assistant.

    I really hope River likes science, economics, politics and/or motorcycles when she's older.
