    Bring it on back....

Bored, feel like making a thread about how I wrecked my bike and decided to bring it back alone in my garage lol!

    Before....

Aftering low siding and flipping multiple times

    The tear down...

    Almost

    New skin!

Finally. Done, just need to throw on the tires, fairings, battery and reservoir!

I was borrowing all the stands in the photos except the black front fork stand, I need to buy my own lol

Back in business haha ... oh and I have an extra rear spool stand you can have, works great. Bought a set of pit bull stands from Jloh so don't have use for it anymore.

    Two! One is enough haha.
Yes it does! I appreciate everything I learned from it.

So thinking with the white fairings having my wheels powder coated purple, yay!?? They are currently mis matched colors because the rear was bent and couldn't find a black one :/

On a different note, good job getting that back together. It looks likes its really coming along. You can also borrow that front stand whenever you need... and are willing to drive to Denver, haha.

The first person in history to own Ohlins before bike stands

In seriousness, hopefully you got it squared away and learned from the experience

Great job persevering. That takes a lot of hard work and getting over petty feelings and frustrations to finish a big rebuild. My girl and I just finished 4 full days major systems' overhauls on her new used/abused sv650. Good way to spend spring break; learning, growing, executing a project.

Any woman with the guts to take that on is OK!

Are you doing all the wrenching yourself? That is pretty cool. I am SUPER dangerous with tools.

    Doing a great job!
So far as those broken rear spools, it's pretty simple to drill them and easy out the studs and replace.

Here is my TL after I got the pile from my buddy:

Your build was a lot more in depth and productive than mine!!! Well done!
I got a paddle stand, if anything I find it better than spool... if you wreck at the track and snap a spool you are SOL without a paddle stand

I am done buying crap! What a wonderful day it is! Woot!

Also that dent has been there since I bought the bike and no it doesn't do anything weird, or didn't.... I can't say it doesn't cause I haven't rode since the wreck lol

Wheels are off to get their new shoes <3

    Re: Bring it on back....

Got the battery in and the bike tries to idle but dies after a few seconds.... so gotta figure that out. My cluster is broken but it works enough to get around the track fine lol
