    parking for rockies game?

i'm going to the rockies game tomorrow with co-workers. we're meeting at the park. I'd like to ride down there rather than cage it. any parking i should aim/avoid? cost is one thing and though i have insurance for it, i dont want my bike stolen. is this a problem down there or are pay lots pretty safe and i should park wherever?

so is my bike definitely going to get stolen or ruined you say? i live in westminster near federal heights so i'm pretty sure the ballpark is closer than light rail. is it really that bad that i need to take my car?

There is a parking lot behind Gate E and I have seen some motorcycles parked there. Not sure if it is official moto parking, or could be a VIP area. So long as you park there or in the regular Rockies lot, probably be fine.

    Been doing this for years.
The Rockies lot for $13 is the best if youre only going to the game.
Although that's still a bit pricey for a moto.
Im on my copbike and my buddy is on an orange chopper.

Cool. I'm a slight maybe. I get off work at game time and have some other things I should be doing. if I make it up there I'll stop by.

    Re: parking for rockies game?

Overall that was pretty nice. $ 14, says moto parking is in lot B but it's really close up to the stadium in lot A maybe a couple hundred feet from the gates. Except I stayed out really late, rode home in shorts and a t-shirt in the cold rainstorm like an a-hole, and by the time I got out to the lot they had it closed down and gated off and it took me forever to get out. Lots of moto parking is under a bridge, but of course that's not where I parked. Should have checked the weather. Also, when I got out my helmet wasn't where it was left and it looked like it fell down because a piece was off of it. Hopefully it's not because somebody sat on it, probably dropped the bike...

Exactly why I never ride downtown unless it's just driving by or parking in an actual parking garage with cameras. Too shady.
