    Ninja EX250 re-jetting

Picked up a 2005 EX250 for my GF over the weekend. We did a little cruise up into the canyons and noticed the power and idle became pretty rough. It was recently a Florida bike so I'm guessing it hasn't been jetted for altitude. I'm not a carb guy, so recommendations on DIY your having a shop knock it out?

    Re: Ninja EX250 re-jetting

If you intend to ride beyond the foothills, jet it for 6000-7000ft. It will be a bit lean in town and a bit rich in summit county. I had my KLX250 jetted for 7K and it ran fine in town.
