Give this guy a call, he is a life saver when it comes to locks. Can't remember his name, but his company is Ayers front range lock and key. 303-466-1841
He can also make new smart keys for the Ducati's and MV Agusta's, Whatever. Great guy, great prices.

Re: New Members - Introduce yourself here! (NEW thread)

    Hey Everyone,

I moved to Colorado 4 months ago and just purchased my first bike, a 2015 Yamaha Fz-09 last Saturday. I test road it when it had 1 mile on it, and right now it only has about 100 miles.

I moved here from Atlanta, GA. My riding experience comes from dirt biking when I was younger, and I have a bunch of friends in the Army that would hand me the keys to their bikes when they would go on training missions etc.. The two bikes I spend the most time with were a 2008 zx6r (monster edition) and a Harley sportster (1200 cc model)... I would say between those two bikes I logged about 2 - 3k miles. I definitely still see myself as a beginner rider, and ride my bike in fashion that suits my skill level.

In Georgia I had my permit for 5 years. (LOL) There weren't many restrictions in Georgia with a permit so I just never took the time to go take the test. After putting 100 miles on my bike I found out that it is illegal to ride with a permit not under the supervision of someone else that has their license... (annoying) I am going to take my road test today at 4:00 pm so I can get legal. I practiced some slow speed maneuvers last night and hope to pass the test with flying colors. (Going to be taking the test on their 125 cc bike so I don'y have to ride my bike up to the testing illegally.) Let me know if you have any tips!

Here are my two toys.... 2013 Subaru wrx (stage 2) and my 2015 Yamaha Fz09

Glad to find some other sports bike riders, after years in a Harley club I turned in my cruiser for a street bike. Looking to get out and have some fun with everyone

    Little update to my introduction...

I took the motorcycle test yesterday and passed with no deductions... Perfect score. Went to the DMV and now have a full motorcycle endorsement!

I also found out that Colorado passed a law that if you are caught riding your motorcycle with a permit w/o someone with a license over 21 they can impound your bike with a $2,500 impound fee!

Hello fellow riders! Moving to CO (in the next few weeks) from Montana (past year) from Texas. I've been riding for about 8 years and look forward to making some new moto buddies.

You got me there for sure......just taking a break....been riding 16+ years on sportbikes and saw a lot of wrecks that have messed me up and made me lose my confidence. I will get it back one day; plus my other hobby, fitness, pretty much takes up all my time. Really I need to just go strictly track nowadays, but nothing all that close and I have no pickup or trailer.

Also saving up for a new house too.....business over pleasure.

Honestly I just wanted to post that a girl was riding a pornstar....although now that I think of it guess that could be a guy pornstar too, but always assumed the GSXR was a girl. We all know you love Johnny Sims and got all his movies Sully (do not google him at work)

No problem, just first time in a very long time I have not had a bike so it is hard (and I am sure sensitive over it).

I hear you though and not sure what happened. After the site moved systems seemed like we lost over half our members. You remember the old days like me and this place had so many people posting and was normal too see 50+ on at one time.

And yeah even less girls, but now you and BornWF seem to be the only girls who still post.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am definitely loving the FZ so much low end torque it is intoxicating. Looking forward to some group rides soon!

Hey, all. Found this place looking for track day info and liked several of the other threads as well. I'm probably on a Victory if you see me in the canyons. But, Sunset classes at PMP have me addicted to the track now so, I'm on an old CBR there since last fall. Cheers!

Hi. Moved to Buena Vista recently, from Broomfield. Looking for a few folks to ride with as a warm-up to the season, something less than 100 miles. Rode the canyons along the Front Range before moving here. Love the twisties! Can ride on week-days to enjoy less traffic. Also available week-ends.
