I seem to remember hearing from someone somewhere between 0 and 10mm (w/ 10 being the absolute max to not pass) 5mm might be a good place to start. (depending on what you have done to the rear ride height though as well)

I'm running mine at 10mm. But it also depends on what tire you use. I was on Michelins last year.

Thanks guys. I am using Bridgestones. I will start at 5 mm and see, because mich's you set your bike a little lower. Ray-Ray you are talking about the top of the forks themselves, not about where the threads are right and the tube's stick out 5 mm from the top of the trippe? I hope thats not to confusing.

Correct, I'm talking about the top of the forks to the top of the triple is 10mm. Jason has a good idea. Start at 5mm and see how it handles.

Kahlid, you forgot to tell me that you were building a R6 for me. When do I get to take it for a test ride?

I guess the 05 is diff with the inverted forks......
I have an 03 and with Bridgestones the measurement from top to tripple is 26mm's

TK should have the exact measurements form Bridestone for that year....

Must have slipped my mind. I actually am done with the bike. Just want to adjust my forks. I think I am going to try and go out to CDR this week sometime. Let me know if you want to go. I want to get in a few track days in before it gets too cold.

I know it is starting to get pretty cold. This week is suppost to be in the mid to high 60's so that will be nice. I don't know if the free thing applies to me because I wasn't an MRA member this year at all. Do you know if I can just go down and pay like normal or do you have to be an MRA member??
