    Dinner on a patio? 6-29-14

It's another beautiful out and wouldn't mind grabbing dinner on a patio somewhere this evening.

Open to what and where. Pizza, Middle Eastern/Mediterranean, bar food, Mexican, whatever..

Thinking about maybe hitting Jerusalem's but open to other suggestions.

    Anyone

Go into Parker and eat at the Tailgate! Best patio around and the food is good!

Word, but if I'm making a trip to Parker I'd go to Hickory House.

We were at Lodo's (Quebec and E470) last night and the patio was nice until the weather went south. Nice views inside and out.

I went to Hickory House a few weeks ago, and I didn't like it. My wife and I got the brisket - but it wasn't really brisket. It was pot roast. Also, Hickory House doesn't even have a smoke pit. How can a barbecue joint called Hickory House not have a smoke pit? To be fair, I heard the ribs are much better, but when I'm in a BBQ mood I normally go for brisket or pulled pork.

Jim n Nick's BBQ just off Smoky Hill Road in Aurora is far better, IMHO. All the meat is smoked in real hickory and apple wood for at least 24 hours, and they make everything on the menu from scratch. They also have a nice patio. (Protip: If you have a picky wife or girlfriend, order her brisket "extra lean." It doesn't get any better than extra lean with a nice smoke ring and a little South Carolina-style sauce.)

How would you like to get roundhouse kicked with a motorcycle?

Never been to HH have always heard rave reviews. No smoke pit is wack! Thanks for the heads up.
