I don't know what to think of this story. It seems to me like the SUV driver should have stopped immediately when he hit the motorcyclist.

If the SUV driver feared for his safety - then why didn't he drive to the nearest police station? I wonder if he or his wife bothered to call 911.

I also wonder about the motorcyclist's condition/injuries. Reporters used to do a good job of answering questions like this, but today's media is much more concerned with conflict and sensationalism than reporting facts and information.
