    World Cup Final - viewing party today [7/13/14]

    If anybody wants to come over and watch the W.C. final between Germany and Argentina, I'll be tuned in today and you're welcome to join me. Game starts at 1:00 and you're welcome/encouraged to bring your swimming suit too, because I'm guessing it's going to be Africahot today and the pool will make for a nice post-game.

    I have snacks and pop and Gatorade and what-not, but if you want to bring over your favorite adult beverages you can. Pizza delivery will be a phone call away. =) Call/text for exact directions, but it's basically 1 block (W) of I25 on Lincoln Ave. as your driving towards South America.

    I was neutral on that game. Germany deserved it more IMO given they played a much more consistent world cup unlike all other teams. Argentina had 3 clear chances to put the game away but couldn't convert.

    The precision of Germany's set striking plays was fun to watch. Obviously even when you execute you don't score 100% of the time, but they could have made this game a walk if Argentina wasn't as defensively sound as they were. And yes... definitely some "gift" opportunities that the blue & white squandered.
