I'm heading back to Dillon in the pickup after climbing a 14er on Sunday, eastbound heading up Fremont pass towards Climax mine. I'm heading into a left hander and coming towards me is a big ADV bike, probably a BMW, that is clearly entering the corner way too hot. Oh, and it's raining. He starts crossing the double yellow, when he hits it I can see him starting to lowside. Then somehow he pulls off the most amazing save. He straightens it, stands it up, which sends it further into my lane. I'm pulling off onto the shoulder to give him room. Then he initiates the turn again and makes the turn back into his lane. I think he'd be toast if I wasn't able to move over for him, but he saved the lowside and avoided a nasty crash. Props to some serious crash saving skills. I'm sure he had to clean those shorts afterwards.
