the new R1 is expected to be available in two variations; a racing version rumoured to make 230hp

That means if they do produce a version with that kind of power, it will be very expensive and in limited numbers similar to the OW01 and R7. Even the R7 was a turd unless you got the kit YEC electronics which were not available to the public.

I'm wondering what the "standard version" will be. 230hp in race trim, maybe 200hp in standard?? Either way copious amounts of power to abuse

I agree. With the HP wars going on and Yami needing new bikes in all the supersport catagories I can't imagine anything less than the current benchmark of 200. I just hope they make it leaner and better looking. I'm not a fan of the current styling.
