Are you serious?!? You really don't know the difference between title jumping and selling without a title? I'm afraid I can't help you, then!! I don't know how to explain it anymore simply than I already have.

    Maybe try this...

Title jumping is buying a vehicle with a title, not registering it in your name and then selling to the next guy. He gets the title with the info from the guy you bought from. It doesn't have your info on it. Thus the term "jumping". It's really quite simple to understand, at least I thought it was!!

Selling without a title is... well... do I really have to explain the difference?!?

    Are you for real?!?

Hahahaha. I said it is perfectly legal. How did you refute that?

Find a forum in nevada that is selling vehicles without titles. What gives you the right to question anyone here? Boredom?

    Boo this man!

Okay, I get where you're coming from, now. You're just playing a game of semantics...

Not all. If you buy a frame straight from the factory, they won't stamp a VIN on it.

Still taking the hate like a pro, Townie. Except for the "stumpy" remark (and now dumbshit - just saw that one), and calling these selling practices the products of laziness and shadiness, you carried on through 4 pages with a cool head and with almost no personal attacks or name calling on your part! I'm impressed! We really need a LEO to post his opinion, so we can break this streak you're on!

No this thread was original started over a 2004 gsxr. This is what I'm talking about but because it was changed to its own thread there is now this level of of we are all over the place.

And again if you had left left this alone it would still be on point.

Yes of course if a aftermarket frame is purchased there is no vin. But there is a certificate of ownership.

Oh is that right? Well I can arrange for this to happen. I think you will be very mistaken in your perception of me once a face to fave were to happen.

    Keep acting tough.

It doesn't seem that way. We seem to be talking about vintage vehicles from before there was titles and knuckle sandwiches.

It was a play off words. I'm sure he's not a stumpy person as he would have a very hard time getting on a bike if he were.

Nothing like that, he's missing part of a finger, so stumpy was hilarious to me. I giggled a little.

I mean why even talk about bikes anymore. Why not talk about horses. And didn't you just say that you guys delete these off topic or move them? I mean the topic at hand was a stock gsxr. If its stock wouldn't it have a stock frame? That would come with a title at some point? Or I mean are just going to throw whatever random thought just to prove a point?

Or am I going to have to go back to the old me and get a nice little time out in the barn.

Re: Why not title a bike?

I just picked myself up from the floor after laughing too hard.

And bro I've already explained this. the title was from California it's now in Colorado, California will not issue me another title. that's why there's no title.
