My FJR1300 has linked brakes and ABS. When I first got it, I was skeptical about the system, but after riding the bike for three years, I have grown to like it. The only time I can even detect that the ABS is working is when I brake hard on smooth concrete or asphalt with loose gravel/sand. Even then, I can't feel the ABS pulsing the brakes. (I haven't tried braking aggressively when I'm leaning hard in corners - nor do I plan to. But if I get into a panic braking situation like that, I'm hoping it will save me from a slide.)
Technology is getting more and more impressive. My trusty 4Runner is in the shop this week having hail damage repaired, so I'm driving a rented 2014 Mazda CX-5 with keyless entry/ignition, remote start, voice recognition, GPS, Pandora and XM radio, Bluetooth hands-free phone/MP4 capability, Tiptronic, TCS, ABS, AWD, rear-view camera, blind-spot warning system, Skyactiv Tech engine, and brake assist, designed to prevent rear-end collisions in stop-and-go traffic.

How would you like to get roundhouse kicked with a motorcycle?
....except both the 1190 and 1290 KTM's do this.“For example, it uses information from the lean angle sensor which is unique to BMW,” said BMW Product Manager Sergio Carvajal.
