So who has jumped there bike on the i25 to 6ave west?!?!?!?!

Yes title says it all, the new part of the on ramp to 6th west from i25 has a jump right when you get on to 6th
I got a decent mount of air from the guy reaction that pulled up next to me with his thumbs up yelling holly shit man that's crazy.

in truth i bet my back tire was only 1 to 2 inches off the ground but front would look higher.

Even in my car i get a the tires loose. How do they think this is save and this would be going the speed limit to 10mph over

Which on-ramp, South or Northbound I25?

Speaking of on-road jumps, I totally aired out my Ram on the construction bump on west bound 1st ave at University, in the intersection, right in front of the Mall and Whole Foods. Didn't see the "bump" sign and hit it at probably 30. The truck even did a tail whip, the back end kicked out probably a foot while flying through the air. Yeeeehaw!

And this is from the new construction? Cause I hit that highway change at least twice a month and I don't know what you're talking about. I just know 6th is rough as shit!

There is a sudden dip on Josephine northbound just past botanical gardens and a cpl blks before colfax. Ride quick enuff you'll get some air.

Another one is York going south bound. A few blks right after the off ramp fom i70. Nice lil bump before the train tracks.

I've about lost it on the I-25 South to I-70 West "bump" that is apparently a permanent feature

Re: So who has jumped there bike on the i25 to 6ave west?!?!?!?!

I've caught air leaving the parking garage at work a few times. Have to be careful though because it puts you out right on Nevada so the first time I went up the ramp kind of quick and it surprised me, which was followed by some quick braking

Its right under i25. So if you're heading Westbound on 6th ave and stay in the left lane, you'll hit it. It's really just a sharp decline. I usually like to (small) wheelie down it.

also, if you're headed east on 6th, just past I-25 there is a right hand exit lane that opens up, there is a nice jump there i hit accidentally last week. engine rev'd is how i knew the back came off.

That's my exit Federal. It gets sketchy up top from all the dirt/dust.

If you're heading west out of Longmont on Nelson Road (general way to Left Hand Canyon), when crossing Hygiene Road if you can get a green light and hit the intersection at 55mph or higher, you'll easily make 12" above the ground from the peak between lanes.

There is a great road in Fort Collins called Bingham Hill. Go over the hill at speed and it drops off sharply on the back side, great fun. I've hit that one on 6th a couple times in the truck coming home but need to try the bike.

Re: So who has jumped there bike on the i25 to 6ave west?!?!?!?!

Is it on a curve, or straight away?
I remember hitting a bump while merging on to 36 at a pretty good rate of speed. Feeling that front tire kick out 20 degrees to the side and then come back is a great feeling to ride out.
Gonna have to go check this one out.. Thanks!

or Hover as it turns to N95th across 66.... Especially the north bound lane... Preload the suspension just like on a dirt bike and it flies nicely....

Another one is Table Mesa and 95th - going west is best....

And the I-25 north to 6 W on ramp with that wicked drop has surprised me on the car first, and just had to try it on the bike.... Wicked fun!
